Method

  1. Cook pasta according to packet directions, then drain.
  2. Place oil, olives, capers and garlic in a bowl, cover and marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. When ready, drain oil mixture into a fry pan (reserving the olives and the capers) and heat.
  4. When hot, add tomatoes and basil and cook until thick (about 20-25 minutes).
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add cooked pasta, olives and capers to the pan and stir through the tomato sauce.
