1. Peel the larger broccoli stalks and cut into smaller pieces.
  2. Cook 2 packets of pasta as per packet instructions.
  3. Heat the oil in a heavy frying pan. Add the chilli and the stalk pieces. Season with salt and stir-fry on a medium heat for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the florets and cook for a further 2 minutes then add the garlic and capers. Cook for another minute.
  5. Drain pasta once cooked and toss with the broccoli mixture.
  6. Add black pepper and parmesan cheese to taste and serve immediately.
