In a pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta as per packet directions.

Firstly place the cockles in a large dish and cover with water, drain and repeat several times to wash out any excess sand.

Heat a pan on medium/high heat and add olive oil.

Next add cockles, mussels and toss through pan, add garlic and chili, cook for a further 2-3 minutes.

Add calamari and shrimp and cook for a further 2 - 3 minutes.

Add fish stock and thinly sliced fennel, cover pan with lid and turn down heat to low. Cook for a further 3 minutes or until all mussels and cockles have opened.

Strain pasta and add into pan and mix together. Finish with parsley and serve immediately.
